He was predeceased by: his wife Myrna Denton; his parents, Charles Denton and Annabell Denton; and his siblings, Ralph Denton and Neva Sue Brown.
He is survived by: his children, Charlie Denton (Debbie), David Denton (Susanne) and Kathy Denton.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home and Cremations Middlebrook Chapel (9020 Middlebrook Pike, Knoxville, TN 37923). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (3500 Tazewell Pike, Knoxville, TN 37918).
