He was predeceased by: his father Daniel B. Strange. He is survived by: his mother Ruby N. Ogle; his wife Pamela Strange; his daughter Tiffiny Essie (Andre); his grandchildren, Maranda Cantrell (Arthur), Davonice Arnold (Mary) and Georgia Byrd; and his great grandchildren, Tiberius, Aubree, King, Prince, Armani and Khai.
