With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Crystal Jean Smith of Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on October 19, 2024 at the age of 51. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Varner and Claudette Varner; her former husband Michael Joe Bray; and her sons, Michael Gary Bray and Carl Jonathan Eugene Bray.
She is survived by: her husband David Smith; her grandchildren, Aiden, Shanel of Kaden, JJ, Zackariah, Trenton, Adaya, Macey, Chole, Riley and Connor; her siblings, Misty Housewright (Noah), Wendy Latham (Bobby), Amanda Hill (Kris), Gene Varner, Kevin Varner (Michelle), Dusty Gibson and Daniel Gibson; her stepmother Patricia Coker; and her cousin Shannon Dotson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Avenue House (818 Drive E, Knoxville, TN 37920).
