He was predeceased by: his parents, Bruce Davis and Ellena Davis; and his sister Myra Faye Byrd. He is survived by: his wife Louise Boatright Davis; his sons, Jeff Davis (Vickie) and Marvin Davis (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Steven Davis (Danielle), Chad (Chelsea), Kevin Davis (Laura), Meigan Scott (Haden), Michael Thomas (Krystal), John Thomas (Adria), Jade Thomas and Tori Thomas; his great grandchildren, Braden Davis, Caroline Davis, Palmer Davis, Elliot Davis, Graham Davis, Grayson Scott, Ella Scott, Peyton Thomas, Charlotte Thomas, Noelle Thomas and Michael Thomas Jr.; and his close friend Jeff McCurry.
