He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Cardwell and Lula Cardwell; and his siblings, Jim Cardwell, Rex Cardwell, Kate Jackson and Wanda Rogers.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Cardwell; his children, Anita Biggs (Kevin) and Matt Cardwell (Kristin); his grandchildren, Ashley Biggs-Holland (Carter), Chloe Biggs, Rachel Cardwell and Jack Cardwell; and his siblings, Geneva Cardwell Sarten, Bill Cardwell (Nancy) and Mary Lou Cardwell Blalock.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Forest Grove Church (7220 Forest Grove Church Rd, Knoxville, TN 37920). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
