She was predeceased by: her former husband William Henry Taylor; her husband Francis William Johnson; her parents, Garson Payne and Martha Payne; her sisters, Birdia Baker, Belva Baker and Irene Hagerman; her aunts, Orpha Vance and Fannie Barker; and her parents-in-law, Mary Ruth and Benny Angel.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Walters and Timothy Johnson (Kelly); her grandchildren, Jenna Wall (Mathew), Josiah Walters, Jonathan Walters, Grace Anne Walters, Constance Day and Emmaline Rose Johnson; her great grandchildren, Annie Elise Wall and James Mathew Wall; and her sister Ella Mae Powell. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Walters Funeral Home - LaFollette (509 E Central Ave, LaFollette, TN 37766). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
