She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Lee Douglas; and her sister Dot Maroney (Preacher Maroney). She is survived by: her sister Helen Markham (Lowell Markham) of Louisiana; her daughters, Sandy Nixon (Ken Nixon), Vicki Jones (Wendell Jones) and Debbie Laws (Rhea Laws); her grandchildren, Lee Ann Webster (Jim Webster), Suzanne Poston (Eric Poston), Brandon Young (Sarah Young), Brooke Govert (Tyler Govert) and Ashley Simmons (Dirk Simmons); and her great grandchildren, Abbie Lee Webster, James Webster, Rosemary Webster, Jonathan Poston, Emily Poston, Alexus Govert, Jackson Young, Douglas Simmons and Bonnie.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Gentry Griffey Funeral Chapel (5301 Fountain Rd, Knoxville, TN 37918). A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (3500 Tazewell Pike, Knoxville, TN 37918).
