It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Billy Randall Boyd of Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on March 15, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Boyd and Dorcie Jarrell Boyd; and his brother-in-law James Gregory. He is survived by: his wife Jane Anne Boyd; his daughter Cathy Shope; his grandsons, Brandon Shope (Grace) and Bryan Shope; his great grandchildren, Braxton and Gavin Shope; his sister Carolyn; and his siblings-in-law, Bob Fox and Frances Gregory. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Farragut Click Funeral Chapel (11915 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37934). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Funeral Home and Cremations Farragut Chapel (11915 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37934). The military honors will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Edgewood Cemetery (229 S Gallaher View Rd, Knoxville, TN 37919).
In lieu of flowers, the family request any donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Concord United Methodist Church.
