She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonzo Blanken and Dora Tomlinson McConnell; and her siblings, Robert Blanken and Mary Smith. She is survived by: her husband Donnie Thomas; her sons, Robbie Thomas (Tracy) of Knoxville and Steven Thomas (Robin Spears) of Rogersville, TN; her grandchildren, Austin Thomas, Peyton Thomas and Kayley Franklin (Cody); her great grandchildren, Leah and Aaron Franklin; and her brother Donnie Blanken of Jonesville. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Robinette Funeral Home (146 Maple Dr, Jonesville, VA 24263). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Huff Cemetery.
