She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Honeycutt and Juanita Honeycutt (Debord); and her aunt Nadine Debord. She is survived by: her husband A. G. Karnes Jr.; her children, Deborah Hayes (Glen), Michael Karnes (Carolyn) and Grant Karnes (Michelle); her grandchildren, Drinnen Hayes (Lane), Bethany Karnes, Campbell Karnes and Hunter Karnes; and her close friends, Vicky Humphrey and Genny Frye. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren, one great-great grandson.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fountain City Chapel (2829 Rennoc Rd, Knoxville, TN 37918). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 10:45 AM and at 11:00 AM.
