She was predeceased by: her daughter Jacqueline Sue Prigmore; and her sisters, Jean Norris, Geraldine Johnson Smith, Mary Chandler and Betty Blance.
She is survived by: her children, Jackie and James Edward "Ed" Blance (Christina Rochelle); her grandchildren, Jamalyn, JaMarr, Niquisha Hall, James Edward, Jr., Corey Blance, Caleb Joshua Blance, Aaron J. Blance, Kiesha Tiera Wilson, Shawntessa Ciera Wilson and Aaliyah Shontel Blance; her cousin Willa Ann Jones (Vincent); her nieces, Debra Lawrence and Angela Hardin (Van); and her great grandchildren, Semaj, Jeremiah and Cameron Blance.
