She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert "Leonard" Maddux and Odis Maddux (Harris) of Hiltons, VA. She is survived by: her son Robert Craft (Angela); her grandchildren, Kristopher Montsinger (Rebecca) and Jennifer Horton; her great grandchild David Montsinger; her sisters, Betty Basham and Carolyn Osteen; and her sister-in-law Jody Craft. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bridges Funeral Home (5430 Rutledge Pike, Knoxville, TN 37924). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Holston College Cemetery (Holston College Rd, Louisville, TN 37777).

Regarding donations, Barbara would have appreciated contributions to the Knoxville Museum of Art.
