In loving memory of Barbara Ellen (Hughes) Meade of Knoxville, Tennessee, born in Oxford, Alabama, who departed this world on January 18, 2025 at the age of 76. She was predeceased by: her former husband Dennis Meade; her husband James Hughes; her parents, Lindsey Snow and Gemma Jenkins; and her sister Carolyn Graham.
She is survived by: her sons, Steven and Marcus Meade; her siblings, Lori Ann Seymour, Lowell, Kenneth, Rodney, Michael and Timothy Snow; her grandchildren, Chelsey and Austin Meade; and her great grandchildren, Desmond, Isabella and Adalynn Meade. She is also survived by Numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Fountain City Chapel (2829 Rennoc Rd, Knoxville, TN 37918). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (3500 Tazewell Pike, Knoxville, TN 37918).
