She was predeceased by: her husband Norman Lowell Vandergriff; her son Joshua A. Vandergriff; and her parents, John B. Underwood, Jr. and Mary Bice Underwood. She is survived by: her daughters, Kelly Moore, Shannon Macklin and Frances Vandergriff; and her siblings, Rodney Underwood, Mike Underwood, Jonathan Underwood and Sheila Underwood McMeeken. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren.
