She is survived by: her parents, Curtis King and Annie Kate Cotton; her children, Demontae M. Lockett of Kingston, TN, Darnavious D. Lockett of Kingston, TN and Lamarcus A. Brown, Jr. of Kingston, TN; her siblings, Quartisha Cotton of Ben Harbor, MI, Curtis King, Jr. of Kinston, TN and Anthony Frierson of Macon, MS; and her grandmother Annie Bell Cotton of Bent Harbor, MI. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Carter's Funeral Services - Macon (200 Millers Chapel Church Rd, Macon, MS 39341). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at 1446 Whispering Pines Rd, Crawford, MS 39743. A burial was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at the Odd Fellows Cemetery (251 Odd Fellows Cemetery Rd, Macon, MS 39341).
