He was predeceased by: his wife Brooke Bond; and his brother Rick Bond. He is survived by: his sons, Harold Alan Bond of Chattanooga and Victor Earl Bond III of Knoxville; his grandchildren, Harold Alan Bond Jr., Nisa Leigh Bond and Christian James Bond; his sister Mary Buttram (Jim) of Chattanooga; and his close friends, Missy, Robert Armstrong of Kingston, Richard, Beth Christianson of Kingston and Shelly Pelfrey McMahan of Knoxville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
