He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Jean Burdette (Anderson); his parents, Earl William and Helen Virginia Burdette; his parents-in-law, Stephen Bethel Anderson and Catherine Annaflo Anderson; and his siblings-in-law, Stephen Bethel Anderson Jr., Gerald Nathan Anderson, Patricia Ann Sexton and Barbara Adams Anderson.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Helen Hudson (Harold) and Thomas Scott Burdette (Anna Whitworth); his grandchildren, Kayla Marie Phillips (Jacob), Andrew Kevin Dean, Sadie Rose Burdette, Brody Scott Burdette, Lily Jean Burdette, Broderick Mathis Hudson, Kaitlynn Elizabeth Hudson, Josie Desiree Hudson and Kennedy Reese Whitworth; his great grandchildren, Hunter Jacob Phillips, Amelia Lynn Dean and Hayden Thomas Phillips; and his siblings-in-law, Ronald Sexton and Barbara Anderson Carter (Tom). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Anderson Hill Cemetery (315 Porter Rd, Troutdale, VA 24378).
