He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Francis and Helen McDowell Johns; and his siblings, Pauline Lawrence, Glenn, Gerald Johns and Elizabeth Weisenberger.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Carder Johns of Kingston; his son David Theodore Johns of Seattle, WA; his granddaughter Dianna Arnold of Tacoma, WA; his siblings, William Johns (Judy) of Trentham, OH and Donna Weisenberger of Hamilton, OH; his siblings-in-law, Connie Johns of Trenton, OH, Jeanne Johns, Stella Burns (Anthony), Linda Gross, Phyllis Frazier (Wallace) of Tampa, FL, George Carder (Nancy) and Hershel Carder (Darlene) of Rockwood; and his close friends, Rev. Ken and Sandra Johnson. He is also survived by Several extended family members and friends.
