He was predeceased by: his parents, R. P. Burgess and Hazel Burgess; his siblings, Dianna Connelly, Wanda Burgess, Rubben Burgess Jr., Mike Burgess, Ricky Burgess and Kevin Burgess; and his sisters-in-law, Macie Burgess, Vickie Burgess and Eleda Burgess.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Mullins Burgess of Lenoir City; his children, Sarah Jackson (Luke) of Lenoir City and Caleb Burgess (Macy) of Sevierville; his granddaughter Evie Mae Jackson of Lenoir City; his brothers, Jim Burgess (Darlene) of Harriman and Doug Burgess of Kingston; his siblings-in-law, Tonia Burgess of Westel, Cindy Burgess of Harriman, Don Connelly (Glenda) of Indiana and Donnie Wilson of Harriman; his parents-in-law, Wayne and Donna Mullins of Rockwood; and his brothers-in-law, Keith Mullins (Tammy) of Rockwood and Chris Mullins (Heather) of Quebec.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to North Rockwood Baptist Church Mission Fund, 1300 North Gateway Ave. Rockwood, TN 37854.
