He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Lee Hobbs (D. L.) and Christine Hobbs; his sister Sandra Gaskins; and his former wife Dottie Hobbs. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Frye Hobbs; his daughters, Tammy, Tonya, Jessica, Jennifer and Julia; his stepdaughters, Rhonda, Lisa and Kathy; and his siblings, Kim Hobbs (Paul), Ronald Hobbs (Janet) and Ootie Hobbs (Debbie). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nephews, and nieces.
