She is survived by: her husband Harold Bruce McElhoe; her daughter April; her son-in-law Jason Sturgill; her grandsons, Ethan and Eli Sturgill; her siblings, Duel Grubb (Linda), Mary Owens and Carolyn Hatcher; her siblings-in-law, Mike McElhoe (Laura), Eddie Altman, Diana Mortlock and Sharon Nelson (Dale); and her close friend Mattie Wheeler. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
