With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pearl Scott Jr. of Kingston, Tennessee, born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on April 2, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearl, Sr. Scott and Fannie Smith Scott; his brothers, Kelly M. Scott and Jimmy Scott; and his daughter-in-law Becky Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Moore Scott; his children, Sherry Scott and Mark Scott; his siblings, Stanley Scott, Thelma Scott Guettner and Diane Scott Darnell; and his brother-in-law Bob Moore (Mary Lane).
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kyker Funeral Homes Our Kingston Chapel (350 W Race St, Kingston, TN 37763). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Tennessee Missionary Baptist Church (184 Jennings Dr, Kingston, TN 37763). A burial was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at the Tennessee Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery (184 Jennings Dr, Kingston, TN 37763).
