She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edwards and Lillie Chappell; her grandparents, Daniel and Laura Chappell; and her siblings, Billy Ray Edwards, Shirley Edwards and Bobbie Jo Edwards.

She is survived by: her sons, Ray Sears (Whitney) of Chattanooga, TN and Steven Sears (Nicole) of Kingston, TN; her siblings, Donna Richmond of Danville, VA, Randy Edwards (Bonnie) of Ruffin, NC, Donald Edwards (Karen) of Ruffin, NC and Charles Hornback of Eden, NC; her grandchildren, Austin and Lilly; and her friend Mary.
