He was predeceased by: his parents, L. P. Hensley and Lela Hensley; his siblings, Everett Hensley (Jean), Marlin Hensley (Shirley), Sam Hensley and Mary Sharp (Cliff); his brother-in-law Jerry Clark; and his granddaughter Mary Pauline Mathes.
He is survived by: his wife Polly Brashears Hensley; his children, Debbie Mathes and Greg; his daughter-in-law Debbie Hensley; his daughter Trish; his son-in-law Mike Easter; his grandchildren, Kendra Bean (Micah), Adam Hensley (Penny Lain), Ryan Hensley (Amanda), Kevin Hensley (Lindsey), Kyle Hensley (Jennifer), Daniel Easter (Allison) and Molly Elfanbaum (Joe); his great grandchildren, Jack, Camille, Molly Bean, Knox Hensley, Kenny, Brayden, Jace Hensley, Mattie, Martha, Margo Hensley, Mary Beth, Emily Hensley, Jane and Grant Easter; his sister Eva Ann Clark; and his sisters-in-law, Norma Jean Hensley and Dot Hensley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
