He is survived by: his wife Peggy Wilson of Kingston; his children, Kelly Boone (Renee) of Louisville, Kim Duckett (Jeff) of Friendsville, Janine Bolin (Scott) of Maryville, Laura Winchester (Rebekah) of Knoxville, David Boone (Traci) of Louisville, Karen Dalton (John) of Madisonville, Steven Wilson (Barbie) of Decatur, Mark Wilson (Melissa) of Cleveland and Gina Herrell (Robert) of Kingston; his siblings, Dexter Boone of Greenback, Betty Roberts of Maryville, Mary Peach of Clarksville, Janette Cannon of Maryville and Margaret Self of Ft. Walton Beach, FL.; his grandchildren, Preston Foster of Knoxville, Madison Herrell, Blake Herrell of Kingston, Heather, Jordan, Jonathan, Jared, Jama, Megan, Cameron, Emily, Avery, Kai, Zachary, Cory, Camden, Jacob, Savannah, Elijah and Micah; and his great grandchildren, Emerson, Kinsley, Kambree, Liam, Merritt, Silas, Gretta, Llewyn, Elle, Nora, Denver and Acelynn.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Oak Ridge Memorial Park (1501 Bethel Valley Rd, Oak Ridge, TN 37830). He was of the Baptist faith and attended The Grove Church prior to Covid.
