We bid farewell to Jane D. Pickel (Kingston, Tennessee), born in Nashville, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 2, 2025 at the age of 94. Jane touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Wesley Pickel, Jr.; her parents, Clyde Dunlap and Christine Dunlap; her in-laws, T. Wesley Pickel (Delia) and Mae Jackson Pickel; her grandson Jacob Murr; and also Clyde Dunlap Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Laura Dailey (Ted), Thomas Wesley Pickel III (Lisa) and Margaret Murr (Greg); her grandchildren, Stephanie Wright (Jay), Janice White (Carrie), Dr. Rebecca Pierce (Joe), Justin Murr (Astral), Rachel Gallaher (Adam), Ellen Dailey and Jonathan Dailey (Kristian); her great grandchild Maggie Wright (Brandon); her grandchildren, Grayson, Gabriel, Wesley Pierce, Mae Gallaher, Emerson Fox and Iris Murr The; and her caregivers, Vickie Maslowski and Patty Rush.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bethel Presbyterian Church (203 S Kentucky St, Kingston, TN 37763). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Lawnville Cemetery (1705 Lawnville Rd, Kingston, TN 37763).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Bethel Presbyterian Church (203 S. Kentucky St. Kingston, TN 37763) or Roane Imagination Library (P.O. Box 128 Kingston, TN 37763).
