He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Palmer and Ava Palmer; his wife Mary Ann Bailey Palmer; and his siblings, Charles "Smokey" Palmer, Joe Palmer, Clyde Palmer, Frances Holder, Thelma Ruth and Carolyn Ann Palmer.
He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Russell (Jimmy) and Sherry May; his son-in-law Chris May; his grandchildren, Autumn Roberts (Kyle) of Kingston, Amber May (Gage Schubert) of Kingston, Aubrie May (CJ Huff) of Kingston and Elijah Russell of Kingston; his siblings, Archie "Harry" Palmer of Sweetwater and Della Palmer of Midtown; and his close friends, Robert and Sylvia Cox. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
