She was predeceased by: her parents, Jarrell Carter and Grace Carter; her sister Carolyn King; and her son Mark Zurcher. She is survived by: her husband Nick Zurcher; her son John Zurcher; and her grandchildren, Jordan, Hannah, Maverick and Parker Zurcher.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church.
