He is survived by: his sons, Billy Schaefer, Becky Schaefer, Kingston, Jason, Tabathe Schaefer, Niceville, Timothy Schaefer and Knoxville; his grandchildren, Thor Schaefer, Bekah Schaefer, Brock Schaefer, Samantha McPherson, Marcus McPherson, Reves Schaefer and Emilee Schaefer; his sister Roberta Geissel (George); and his brothers-in-law, Wayne Myers, Jean Myers, Raymond, Debbie Myers, David, Kathy Myers of Goodlettsville and Joe Byran Myers of Crossville. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and a host of extended family and friends.
