He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene J. Butler and Nora A. McMahon Butler. He is survived by: his son Bill Butler; his daughter-in-law Kristie Butler of Montevallo, Alabama; his stepdaughter Doris Church of Grand Pass, Oregon; his sister Maureen Fagan; his brother-in-law Joe Fagan of St. Georges Island, Florida; his brother Michael Butler of Newton; and his pet Dixie. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
