It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elmer Boyd Woody of Kingston, Tennessee, who passed away on June 21, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Woody and Zella Keylon Woody; his siblings, Ada Frank Woody Thompson, Joyce Woody Morgan and Brice Woody; and his granddaughter Amanda Woody.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Ellis Woody of Kingston; his children, Brice Woody (Diana) of Kingston, Ron Woody (Becky) of Kingston, Randall Woody (Amy) of Kingston and Preston Woody (Susan) of Kingston; and his siblings-in-law, Junior Morgan of Philadelphia, Frazier Ellis of Unicoy, Martha Harmon of Lebanon and Dee Ellis of Jackson, SC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Luminary United Methodist Church Scholarship or Capital Fund.
