It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dickey Oran of Kingston, Tennessee, born in Sweetwater, Tennessee, who passed away on December 22, 2019, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmer Oran and Nell Hood Oran; his former wife Linda Faye Walker Oran; his siblings, Kathleen Hall, Joan Lacey, Don K. Oran and Benny Oran; his parents-in-law, Boyd E. Edgemon, Ray and Juanita Walker; his brother-in-law Danny Ray Walker; and his mother-in-law Jean Edgemon of Ten Mile.
He is survived by: his pet Lexi; his wife Darlene Edgemon Oran of Kingston; his children, Susan King Miles (Allen) of Kingston and Waylon Oran (Vanessa) of Kingston; his grandchildren, Blake King (Stephanie) and Justin Miles (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Bryson, Kolton, Dawson and Brooklyn; his siblings, Shirley Colyer (Robert) of Kingston, Charles Ray Oran of Midtown and Teddy Oran of Rockwood; and his siblings-in-law, Shannon Hill (Jeff) of Ten Mile, Frances Walker of Paint Rock, Ronnie Edgemon (Wendye) of Ten Mile, Steve Edgemon (Charlotte) of Ten Mile and Mike Edgemon (Kitty).
