He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Jackson Palmer of Kingston; his son Benjamin Wayne Palmer (Lachele) of Oakdale; his grandchild Zoey Palmer; his siblings, Alvis Palmer (Diana) of Rockwood, Genois Billings (Mac) of Oak Ridge and Janice Brashears (Tony) of Rockwood; his brother-in-law Wayne Pierce of Kingston; his nephew Justin Pierce (Erika) of Kingston; and his close friends, Denise Duncan of Lenoir City, Kathy Shirley of Knoxville and MaryAnn Keck.
