With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charlene J. Ratledge of Kingston, Tennessee, born in Rockwood, Tennessee, who passed away on May 15, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Jackson and Mayme Jackson; her husband Robert Ratledge (RJ); her daughter-in-law Breanna Ladd; her grandchild Seiera Ladd; and her siblings, Sandra Jackson Webb and John C. Marney.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Charles Kanipe (Kimmy Morgan), Joseph and Jaselyn; her children, Tijuana Beason (James Burnette) of Harriman, TN, Kenneth Ladd (Cathy) of Bastrop, TX, Teddie Ladd (Phyllis) of Beaumont, TX, Roger Ladd (Jolynn) of Ooltewah, TN, Claude Ladd of Birchwood, TN and Charles Ladd (Erica) of Louisville, KY; and her sisters, Joann Clark of Kingston and Brenda Yates of Kingston. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, a great-great grandchild.
