It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Joe Watson (Kingston, Tennessee), who passed away on July 31, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glynn Watson and Ruby Lewis Watson; his sister Elizabeth Finch (Liz); his brother-in-law James Weaver (Jimmy); and his nephew Michael Benton.
He is survived by: his close friend Danny Jones; his wife Peggy; his sister Glenda Watson; his brother-in-law Larry Finch; his nieces and nephews, Wayne Finch, Kevin Finch, Denise Benton, Jayne, Ken Atkins, Sharon, Brian Davis, Karen, Eric Gibbons, Cynthia and Trevor Trout; and his close friends, Peggy Jones, Terry, Charity Robbins, Wayne, Margaret Childs, Robert, Glenda Buttram, Mary Browder, Troy Beets and Chase Lewis.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to the American Cancer Society 871 North Weisgarber Road Knoxville, TN 37909.
