He was predeceased by: his daughter Melissa Lynn Liles; his parents, Arnold Ray Skiles, Sr. and Hazel Gallahan Skiles; and his sisters, Linda Kay Rollins and Mary Ellen Skiles.
He is survived by: his wife Agnes "Lou" Skiles of Kingston; his children, Thomas Gregory Skiles of St. Petersburg, FL, Angela Rene Vacha (Pat) of Lebanon, TN, Benjamin Ray Skiles (Vickie) of Knoxville and Richard Dan Liles, Jr. of Chattanooga; his brothers, Bobby Ray Skiles (Barbara) of Chattanooga and David Skiles (Tammy) of Michigan; and his sisters-in-law, LaDonna Jackson of Netherland, TX, Romain Taylor (Marvin) of Chattanooga and Debra Lee Murphy (Jerry) of Bridgeport, AL. He is also survived by extended family & friends.
