He is survived by: his wife Mary Armes; his daughter Shannon Thompson (Jonathan); his stepson Brian Goad (Bridget); his siblings, Otis (Rhonda), Reuben (Rita), Randal (Betty), Ellis (Sharon), Mary Nelson (Roger) and Evelyn Freytag Price; his siblings-in-law, Renita Armes, Brenda Houston and Raymond Patton (Marilyn); his niece Melissa Painter; and his nephew Robert Houston. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
