She was predeceased by : her husband Thomas Colson Parkss; her parents, Frank Ritchie and Minnie Ola Mulwee Ritchie; and her siblings, Robert, John, Evelyn and Kathleen.

She is survived by : her children, Dianne Parks Jarman of Gastonia, John Parks of Kingston Springs, TN, Rick (Donna Parks) of Durham and Lindsay (Joan Parks) of Hillsborough; her sisters, Betty Loggins of Chattanooga, TN and Nancy Moser of Concord; her grandchildren, Elain Nance of Charlotte, Amy Smith of Gastonia, Sarah Emily Parks of Oregon, Jenna Elizabeth Parks of Durham and Roddy Smith of Gastonia; and also, Cecelia Lee Parks of Durham, Ava McGinnis, Donald McGinnis of Rock Hill, SC, Linda Stevens of Huntersville and Bunny Russell of Sumpter, SC. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
