He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricia Ruth (Livingston) and Roy Cardell Shumpert. He is survived by: his wife Vikki; his daughters, Crystal Hamlin (Dallas) and Jessica Levine (Austin); his siblings, Julie Cathey (James) and Jerry Shumpert (Lisa); his nieces and nephews, Amanda Wells (James), Angela Temple (Michael), Kimberly Wilson (Brandon), Allen Shumpert (Kelsey), Annie Groves (Matthew) and James Roy Cathey; and his granddaughters, Della and Sarah.
