It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Jefferson Diggs Sr. of Kingston Springs, Tennessee, who passed away on October 12, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Jefferson Diggs and Martha Jane Anderson of Virginia; and his sisters, Frances Louise Bell and Carolyn Diggs Cardenas of Virginia. He is survived by: his wife Donna Jean Long of Kingston Springs, TN; his sons, Charles Jefferson Diggs, Jr. (Jackie) of Tenino, WA and Paul Eugene Diggs of Memphis, TN; his grandson John Michael Diggs (Lilliana) of Van Nuys, CA; his stepchildren, Joel Long (Angie), Sharon Goad (Glen) of Dickson, TN and Jeffery Long of Waverly, TN; and his stepgrandchildren, Renee Holder (Jared) of McEwen, Justin Long (Nicki) of McEwen, Jeremy Long, Joel Long, Autumn Long and Elizabeth Goad Odom (Ian) of Dickson, TN.. He is also survived by three nieces; three grandnieces; three grand nephews; and three great grand nephews.
