With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Woodrow Wilson Reeves Jr. of Kingsport, Tennessee, born in Franklin, North Carolina, who passed away on August 26, 2024 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Woodrow Wilson may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Woodrow Wilson touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Woodrow Wilson Reeves and Edythe Rebecca Taylor Reeves; his wife Lisa Shockley; his sons, Sean Reeves of Cincinnati, OH and Kyle Reeves (Laura Valentine) of New York, NY; his sister Rebecca Reeves of Conover, NC; and his pet Zoey.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that donations be made to the Woody Reeves New Trail Fund of the Bays Mountain Park Association to help with the building of the next great trail.
