He was predeceased by: his wife Virginia; his parents, Ruby Truelove and James Willingham; and his siblings, Jim Willingham, Jr. and Barbara Jean Hundley.

He is survived by: his sons, Gary (Lisa) of Glenside, PA and Brad (Katrina) of Wilmington, NC; his grandchildren, Brandon (Brittney), Justin (Carrie), Jordan (Page) and Jessica (Zach); his great grandchildren, Madilyn, Zuri and Skye Willingham; and his brothers, Kenneth Willingham (Glenda) and Charles Willingham (Jane). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
