We are sad to announce that on April 15, 2025, at the age of 96, Velvia Armstrong of Kingsport, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bighie Conkin and Stella Overbay Conkin; her former husband Clifton Williams; her husband Ted Armstrong; her children, Eugene Williams and Kyle Armstrong; her siblings, Clara Gregory, J. W. Conkin and Johnny Conkin; and her granddaughter Kim Williams.
She is survived by: her son Lynn Armstrong (Janice); her grandchildren, Andy Armstrong (Mandy), Allison Stapleton (Tom), Adam Armstrong (Sarah) and Brandon Armstrong; her great grandchildren, Matthew, Will Armstrong, Abby, Avery Armstrong, Tanner and Ethan Stapleton; and her niece Tammy Gregory.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
