She was predeceased by: her parents, George Simeon and Margaret Goins Smith; her siblings, Marie Cain, Ruby Clark, Erma Ealey, Dewey Smith, Harold Smith and Virgil Gene Smith; and her siblings-in-law, Phyllis Smith, Dolvin Cain, Herbert Clark and Newman Ealey.
She is survived by: her husband Bascom; her daughter Sarah Patrick (Preston) of Kingsport; and her sister-in-law Joyce Smith of Kingsport. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Oak Hill Funeral Home (800 Truxton Dr, Kingsport, TN 37660). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
