She was predeceased by: her parents, Josephine Pafford, and Marvin Pafford, Sr. (M. C.); her daughters, Susan Dawn Mulhall and Mari Lynn Mulhall Zell; her granddaughters, Cheyenne Amanda Taylor and April Lynn Zell; and her siblings, Geraldine Pafford Dickey, Marvin Pafford, Jr. and Ronald Pafford.
She is survived by: her husband Ronald Raum (Ron); her son John Phillip Mulhall III (Kate); her grandsons, John Phillip IV (Jack), Emory, Tyler Zell, Ryan Wall and Jesse Taylor; her great grandchildren, Scarlet Zell and Edie Wall; her stepdaughters, Rachel Raum and Kathy Raum Wess (Craig); and her siblings, Rick Pafford, John Pafford, Don Pafford, Theda Pafford Jennings, Vicki Pafford Pendergrass, Peggy Pafford Lifford, Sandra Pafford Delaney and Janet Pafford Lester. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In keeping with her true generosity of spirit, Shirley donated her body to the Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University through the Anatomical Gift Program.
