We are sad to announce that on February 18, 2024, at the age of 76, Sarah Faye VonCanon Sams (Kingsport, Tennessee), born in Banner Elk, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John VonCanon and Geneva VonCanon. She is survived by: her husband Phip Sams; her grandchildren, Molly Sams, Zach McCaffrey, Caroline Sams and Campbell McCaffrey; and her children, Minister Larry Sams (Megan) and Dr. Genilyn McCaffrey (Adam).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Christian Church, 106 E. Charlemont Ave., Kingsport, TN 37660.
