She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Grimes and Martha Hardwick; her siblings, Jimmy, Jack, Jerry, Helen, Jean and Pat; and her sons, Larry Mahaffey (Margie) of Charlotte, NC, Bryan Mahaffey (Dorothy) of Chapmanville, WV and Paul Mahaffey (Dixie) of Kingsport, TN.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Franklin Mahaffey; her grandchildren, Joshua Mahaffey (Lauren), Christopher Mahaffey (Samantha), Meagan Baisden (Seth), Evan Mahaffey (Sydney), Susan Peterson (Caleb) and Natalie Mahaffey; her great grandchildren, Olivia Baisden, Melody Mahaffey, Madelyn Baisden and Jacob Baisden; her sister Judy Winchester (Gary); her sister-in-law Pat Hargrave (David); and her grandchildren, Jacob, Brianna and Heartlie Helvey. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
