She was predeceased by: her parents, Flem H. Pecktol and Eva Fleenor Pecktol; her siblings, Manie Miller, Irene Childress, Elizabeth Medlin, Frances Hickam, Rachel Dykes, Margaret Bedford, Henry Pectol and Flem Pecktol; and her grandchildren, Jamie Shankles, Melissa Fielding and David Shankles.
She is survived by: her sons, Ernie (Donna) of Mint Hill, NC, David (Karen) of Shelby, NC, Roland (Karen) of Knoxville, TN and Charles (Jean) of Hickory, NC. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
