She was predeceased by: her husband John Rushing, Sr.; her parents, Harrison Barrett and Rena Johnson Barrett; her granddaughters, Christina and Laura Davis; and her siblings, Della Ray Barrett and Alfonso Palmer Barrett.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Ann Rushing Baldwin (Dave), Brenda Davis (Mike) and John Rushing, Jr. (Sherrye); her grandchildren, Fara Childers, Joshua Childers (Paula), Darren Davis, Emilee Davis, Clemmie Taylor, Maelee Taylor and Greyson Rushing; and her great grandchildren, Connor Childers, Stella Childers, Sequoia Childers, Jonah Childers, Noelle Davis, Elijah Gordon, Dixie Pickle and Darby Pickle. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
