She was predeceased by: her parents, Lee Jones and Chloe Jones; her siblings, Willie and JoAnn Franklin; and her brother-in-law Harold Franklin.

She is survived by: her husband Alfred C. Chapman; her children, Scott Chapman (Trish) and Angie Chapman; and her granddaughters, Allison (Madison) and Katelin (Kinley).
